FAQ

  • Patrons are strongly encouraged to wear well-fitting, high-filtration face masks (N95/KN95/KF94), because of the potential for viral transmission in indoor environments where physical distancing is challenging.

Masking is a simple and effective means to curb viral spread and make public spaces more accessible, equitable, and inclusive, as well as safer for vulnerable individuals in our communities and diverse populations impacted by COVID-19 in disproportionate ways. Masking also reduces risk of exposure for touring artists whose livelihood and well-being can be negatively impacted by transmission at events and gatherings.

Click here to review Health Canada’s official guidance on masking.

All individuals onsite are requested to practice physical distancing where possible and practice respiratory etiquette (i.e. coughing/sneezing into a tissue or bent elbow) at all times.

Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 is not currently required.

  • All patrons, regardless of age, are required to have a valid ticket in order to enter Mills Hardware.

Tickets to Mills Hardware events are available exclusively online, through millshardware.ca. It is recommended that fans purchase only through the venue’s links to ensure that they receive the most up-to-date event information and are protected against outdated/misleading information or fraudulent sales transactions.

You can find ticket links to upcoming shows on the venue’s website or directly through official ticketing platform Tixr at this link. (Some external promoters may not use Tixr, but verified ticket links can be found on millshardware.ca. ) Customers first need to register an account with Tixr in order to purchase tickets. The account creation process is explained here. If you click Log In at the top right hand corner of the event page, then click Sign Up Via Email, account creation should be straightforward.

We do not recommend using your Facebook credentials to create an account as this may be linked to a forgotten email address. When creating your Tixr account, take time to ensure that the email address is accurate, and make note of the address used to purchase tickets — that will be where the tickets are delivered. Typos in your email address at time of purchase are the most common reason that confirmations and tickets haven’t arrived in your inbox.

Tickets are subject to availability. We do not hold or reserve tickets, and cannot guarantee that tickets will be left at the time of your arrival. We recommend all fans purchase tickets in advance online.

Any tickets not purchased directly through links on millshardware.ca will have no remedies available to the holder if the tickets are found to be fraudulent at point of entry.

    WAITLIST

Fans who miss out on tickets before tickets sell out can register their interest and payment preferences on the Waitlist that appears on Tixr ticketing pages. When an event sells out, a Waitlist will automatically be generated. Fans can pre-authorize their credit cards for an order of tickets and orders will be immediately fulfilled if and when more inventory becomes available. In order to protect fans from being ambushed by last-minute automated charges to shows they can no longer attend, the Waitlist will expire 48 hours before the show. Click here for more info on Waitlist.

    HARD TICKETS

There is no option to purchase physical tickets in advance of an event. If an event has not sold out by door time, remaining tickets may be available at the door for a modest premium.

    CANCELLATIONS / REFUNDS

All ticket sales are final. Refunds will only be issued for cancelled events. Ticket purchasers will be informed of event postponements or cancellations via email.

Requests related to the above should be directed via email to office@sonicunyon.com, originating directly from the email associated with the ticket purchase.

  • Mills Hardware is an accessible venue with stage, bar and accessible washroom facilities all conveniently located on the ground floor. Access to the main room via the venue’s main door involves two-step descent; a side door offers step-free access for those with mobility assistive devices.

Most of the venue's events are configured as General Admission standing, but a limited number of temporary seats (padded commercial high-back folding chairs without armrests, rated to 136kg/300lb static weight capacity) are typically located around the perimeter of the room, where they must remain for safety reasons. Please note that seated attendees at a show ticketed for a standing audience may experience compromised sight lines as a result of height differentials.
